Leveret Youth Theatre believe that all young people deserve a high-quality creative education
We are a Norfolk based company who provide excellent bespoke workshops to children aged 5 to 18. In 2025, we reached over 250 young people through our work with schools, charities and local businesses. We highlight the benefits of drama on social skills, oracy, and teamwork while keeping our sessions engaging and always fun.
Meet the team

Joseph
Joseph has a wealth of curricula experience from his time spent working in secondary education. He’s been regularly developing as an artist since his first major introduction to drama in secondary school, going on to join various productions and The New Wolsey Young Company, which led him to pursue becoming a practitioner, director and stage manager.

Beth
Beth has been working with young people for eight years, both as a childcare provider and as an educator and workshopper at The Young Actor’s Company. Her acting pursuits have brought her to productions at UEA, and further afield in her training with the National Youth Theatre, both of which have helped her to develop the Leveret practice alongside Joseph

Testimonials
‘Beth and Jo provided a fun and supportive space for my youth writing group. They encouraged them to communicate and to work together through drama and performance. The session was absolutely transformative for the group, who have only recently met, and who are now far more comfortable, confident and even playful in one another’s company. Jo and Beth’s work is special because of the care that they bring into the room, care which all of the young people present can feel. A session with Leveret can be game-changing for groups looking to create cohesion, confidence and ease.’ - Katherine Cooper, Learning and Participation Producer, National Centre for Writing
'The [visit] was educational and helped with our script writing and acting skills. The workshop is great for schools because it teaches students life skills and a lot of students will be able to use [these skills] later on in life.' -Student Participant
‘What a lovely treat it was to have the Leveret Youth Theatre visit the Hewett Academy. Our Year 8s benefited from an energetic and thought-provoking workshop on character where all students were on their feet or in small groups, collaborating, questioning and - most importantly - enjoying themselves while Beth and Jo encouraged them all the way’. - English Teacher, Hewett Academy
